Step 1: The applicant fills out the online application form (name, email, chosen city, educational institution) and accepts the GDPR agreement.
Step 2: The system processes the application and forwards it to the program manager at the Foundation headquarters.
Step 3: The applicant participates in a video interview or personal meeting with the host and the program manager.
Step 4: Based on a positive decision, the applicant receives one or more specific offers in the chosen city (they can view the property in person or through a video tour).
Step 5: The applicant selects and accepts the most suitable accommodation option (room type, additional preferences). The local GO House host contacts the student to arrange a move-in date and a personal meeting.
Step 6: The applicant reviews and agrees to the program's house rules and code of conduct. The applicant uploads the required documents (student ID, passport, proof of study) and accepts the agreements.
Step 7: The new student signs the participation agreement. The applicant pays the program application fees.
Step 8: The student moves into their accommodation, receives the keys and any other necessary items (e.g., Wi-Fi code, dinnerware). The facilitator welcomes them personally, shows them around the property, and explains the community rules and opportunities. The facilitator helps them settle in with housing matters (e.g., room setup, shared space use).
Step 9: The student participates in a local community event where they meet their neighbours and local cultural programs. The facilitator keeps in regular contact with the student during to help with the integration process.
Step 10: The student becomes a full member of the community, participating in all events and activities, and can actively shape the community with suggestions.
